Oh my god, lighten up, people. It's just a joke. Absolutely harmless, inoffensive joke. You may find it amusing or not, but don't act like it was some sort of malicious slander against you.

Ok, I mean, they're kinda true. And I'm speaking as a fan of some of these artists.

I thought those were funny, but I read them as joking. Not serious. People really love getting outraged at stuff online these days. That's fine, as there is plenty in this world to be outraged about. But this set of memes isn't one of those things.

I've never heard of most of these people. Is it okay for me to be indignant anyway? Or shall I wait 2 or 3 minutes and be offended about the next big terribly offensive thing?

I'm Offended that they would even say most of these people make music.

Some of them are actually funny. I listen to mostly everyone on this list. Mostly. Lol. I kinda wonder if the generalization is a bit true though. I can kinda see the Taylor Swift one being true. Seems like everytime she breaks up with a guy (or vice versa) she writes a song about them and throws them under the bus. And Cardi B does sound like the dumb girl in class. Ugh I can't stand her.

Back in the 80s -- when I had intense and expensive music preferences, anyone who considered their musical taste superior to others to an irritating degree was not called a "gatekeeper," but a sh*thead… and they didn't get invited to parties or out to clubs or concerts, because they'd just whine and criticize.

Haha, wow. Truth hurts. I honestly think music taste says a lot about a person. Most physicists and mathematicians like complicated music, and I usually like those people. Any genre, but complicated. I've found that non-scientists are incredibly boring to talk to and I'd rather just spend time alone if I'm not around them.

I think people need to consider that this isn't supposed to be taken seriously. It's a bit too much indeed, but if you don't like it, the best thing to do is not to help these series of spiteful comments getting viral.
