Someone Shames Brendan Fraser On His ‘Deteriorated’ Looks, Gets Destroyed In The Comments

I like Brendan Fraser!

He doesn't even look bad in the second picture??? He looks older, yeah, surprise, that happens. He also looks like a dad. In just like, the best possible way. Like your best friend's dad who is always really nice to everyone and never does anything creepy or makes you feel uncomfortable. Like you bring home a stray kitten and he says you can't keep it, you gotta find it a home, and then an hour later you find him in his armchair with this tiny kitten asleep on his chest and when you give him the look he's just like "His name is Charlie. He's got a vet appointment on Tuesday to get his shots and chip. I just ordered a cat tree off of Amazon, it should be here in two days. Look at this thing, it's like 7 feet tall with scratching posts, platforms, hidey-holes, a swing; he's gonna love it."

If you can only feel good about yourself when you're putting others down, you might want to seek help.

I loved him in scrubs as Dr. C*x's brother in law Ben. The last scene in "My Screw Up" will get you every time.

Even though he made some questionable movies, I always thought of him to be quite charismatic. Too bad a bad divorce screwed him over.

Hey. What??? Why would anyone dislike Brendan Fraser? Yeah, he's part Canadian, don't think that doesn't give me a bit of a soft spot... Really though - from all reports, all interviews I've ever seen, reports from coworkers who encountered him and his family (Yeeearrs ago...) at a local attraction (as in they were the staff) - He's a really warm, humble, awesome person - WHY would anyone shame him??? For crying out loud... in the temperature we're in these days, where childhood heroes are being wrangled and exposed for being predators, previously admired celebrities are being outed as amoral monsters... we have a dude who is NONE of these things, in fact, by all accounts is the complete opposite ... and we're STILL picking on him? Wth?

I love his movies! His personal life isn't any of my business, but I admire him. Recovering for any one of those challenges is difficult, bouncing back from so many is inspirational.

This man is a national treasure, pristine actor, totally one of my favorites. I was ecstatic when I saw he is in DC's Doom Patrol.

Protect Brendan at all cost

I'd like to see photos of some of the people talking trash. I'll bet they have never looked as good as he did and don't now (and I'll bet they haven't been as successful either).

Same age as me. Good early life. Bad later life. Body giving me s**t. Feel s****y I can't do more but still try but can't. Shut myself off from everything for almost 4 years. Slowing easing back into world. Home. Work. Home. Rando stops to get food or stuff. But not social like I used to be. That hurts. I love this guy. He's always made me laugh and is a great actor (y'all see him in that fx Getty one? Brilliant and funny and heartwarming). We would prob be friends If we didn't live on different coasts. I am so sick of societies ideal man or woman. They don't care about the heart or soul, they only care about the looks! This drives many aging men and women to literally go in debt with plastic surgeries that make them look like a cat or an alien! The surgeries have to be done over and over because they do not last. Even botox! Every three months getting botulism injected into their face! There are people who have died because of this poisoning after having the shots to make them look younger! I am 73, and I always get a kick out of people who come here and see a photo of myself taken in my late 40's and saying "WOW! IS THIS YOU?! Isn't it awful what aging does to us!" I am perfectly satisfied with my wrinkles, trust me, I deserved everyone of them, and there is something beautiful about those who aren't caught up in being forever young and beautiful. To age gracefully is a virtue. I don't know who this star is, I've never heard of him. But he looks fine to me!

As one of my #1 celebs from his first film, this saddens me to see. But all the positivity coming from all of his fans is a wonderful to see. Brendan Fraser has and always be my favorite actor. Life happens to everyone and sometimes it hits people harder than others. Having so many difficulties thrown at you will definitely change a person. Brendan has had a lot more dropped in his lap than most and he’s still standing... which most wouldn’t have come through it. Kudos to you Brendan, happiness isn’t always an easy path, but you’ll get there. He’s brought a lot of joy into the world: Encino Man, School Ties, Bedazzled, Blast from the Past, George of the Jungle, Gods and Monsters, Inkheart, the Mummy trilogy the list goes on and on...

I think he's doing pretty well despite all the c**p he's been through. Divorce, trauma...they all leave marks on a person so yeah whoever body shamed him should check themselves in the mirror in 20 years and see how good they look..what an asshat

I'm 50 as well and my tummy is a bit bigger, tots a bit lower and hey even my eyes look different. Brendan looks freaking sexy for a man of 50 and been through some s**t to boot, he's still sexy as fudge in my eyes...

Seen Brendan on TalkShows like Graeme NORTON a couple years ago and it was easy to see just how depressed he was. He talked a small amount of the time otherwise He sat there looking very uncomfortable and very sad..

I saw Carrie Fisher live in her show, "Wishful Drinking" and she had an almost life size bikini statue (you know the scene) and said, "What I didn't realize when I wore this is that I was signing a contract to look like this forever". Another beautiful person. We need Brendan Fraser to be an Avenger, FFS. Have a scene where one of a new Iron Man's suits get knocked out of the sky in a battle and something's twisted so Fraser untwists it (being kind) and it opens up for him to get in.

I love Brendan any way I can get him. He's a star in my book. And yes, we all age. I used to have a 28 inch waste when I was younger, it's now 40" (groan) and I do eat right and exercise. Age happens and genetics do too. Cherish this man's contribution, cherish his big heart and talent! Huge Hugs to Brendan!

First and foremost, he is a uman being like the rest of us. Acting is his job only he is under more scrutiny that te average worker. I see nothing wrong with second photo, and I would suggest he still looks better than most of us walking down the street, not being on show. Easy sulution here is if you do not like the way he looks now, don't gorp at him and let him get on with his day.

I am 55 years old. I high school I ran track and played baseball. I was 5'11' and about 150 lbs. I weigh a "little" more now and my knees won't let me run 10 feet. All of the younger people crapping on Mr. Frasier, who believe they won't ever get sick or develop a disease, won't get any older and will never die, I have some shocking news for you...
