Someone Removed Background Music From Lady Gaga’s Superbowl Show, And It’ll Give You Goosebumps
Lady Gaga rocked the world’s socks off at the Super Bowl LI Halftime Show, and now her powerful singing voice is getting all the cred it deserves. A video has surfaced that isolates her performance down to the raw mic feed, so that only Gaga’s bone-chilling vocals can be heard. Just hit the play button and hold on to your seat.
Though Gaga’s most moving piece of the night was arguably Million Reasons from her latest album, Joanne, she also gave us a full throwback tour – Poker Face, Just Dance, and Born This Way included. Her performance was also politically charged, as she opened with a cover of Woody Guthrie’s This Land Is Your Land, a folk classic about embracing all corners of America that was sung frequently during the 2017 Women’s Marches.

Being able to sound THIS incredible, LIVE while you are engaged in a physically demanding show is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT! You MUST be in PEAK physical condition to maintain control of your breathing and strength of voice! The requires INTENSIVE workouts and dedication to training!! She is a TRUE pro! She gives her ALL to make sure she doesnt let her fans down! YAAAAASSS GAGA, YAAAAASSSSS!

FOr those negative comments I didn't watch superbowl but I'm pretty sure she gave a hell of a show. With all those movements noone else would even be able to talk. There she is actually singing and with actual understandable words. If you can show someone better than this, then you can talk s**t freely :)

I get tired of certain songs/artists/bands after hearing too much of them or the same c**p over and over again, and so Lady Gaga happens to be one of those 😅. the only song that I still like by her is Shallow (I'm a fan of Bradley Cooper too lol). I don't think her fame is brought on by her outfits, which is also a red flag for me with artists in general (T. Swift for example 😖) lol, but I don't mind her voice. also plz don't hate, I am very passionate about music and slightly opinionated 🤣

She kept it classy and unoffensive by keeping her clothes on and not alienating the audience by NOT going political. BP could learn from her

Just simply amazing, I was fortunate to see her Little Monsters Tour in San Jose and just love her to death, I am a fan for life and this just shows one of the reasons why. Thank you for posting this.....

It's just a bad description. The YT video title accurately labels it as the mic feed. I've run the sound for a few small concerts, and the mic feeds do sound like this. It's impossible in any loud environment to have a microphone pick up one particular person or instrument. The most modern mics, though, are designed to focus most of their pickup to whatever they are pointed directly at.

If you didn't watch the super bowl then you wouldn't get it. She was dancing and singing. I felt her energy from the TV set. She gave it her all.. most singers just lipsing.. she made an amazing remix.. amazing dance.. used her vocals.. and pumped the audience up with her performance.. it was great. Plus her music already calls for ending hate.. so in a way she made a political stance without making it so tense.
