50 Actors Who “Understood The Assignment” And Showed What Being An Actor Is Truly About

O Captain! My Captain!

she is one of the best

I read somewhere years ago that the makers of the Lost In Space film cast him as Dr Smith as he was the only person creepy enough for the role.

Why is he so low on the list?

I watch movies because of him.

Frick Amber Heard, men can get abused too!!

The silly slapstick-acting in clue was perfect

she UNDERSTANDS the assignment

Annie Wilkes. Amazing!

LOVE Emma Thompson

Gone too soon, but not forgotten.

he played them well for sure

One of my favorite actors. He is so badass that when he signed on for Star Wars he asked to pick his own lightsaber color of Purple.

he is also Arnold Schwarzenegger's twin.

R.I.P.

I think she will always be one of my favourite actress of all time.

stardust

Will smith is the BEST. U can’t convince me otherwise.

Oh my Yes!

I really like Anne Hathaway.

I must admit that the only movie I have seen her in is Suicide Squad but I loved her in Neighbours and have had a lil girl crush on her since lol. From what I have seen (trailers) though she really immersed herself in her movies and plays her characters so well.

He was fantastic in "Legend" and totally saved "Venom" with his acting

Beetlejuice will always be a classic.

Hmm no, was casted because of the assignment. I love Jim Carry, but just like Jack Black = he always plays similar roles. Not that this is a bad thing, but he is being type casted and fulfills this expectation. Although he showed some different acting skills as count Olaf (laughed my ass off). The Mask, Ace and the Grinch are all typical JC characters to me. Not a bad thing, but not reallly meant for this list if you ask me.

Growing a second head shows immense dedication.

yus! higher up pleeese!!

I just got the song "It was Agatha along" out of my head, lol.

iconic

Soo talented & gone too soon

I want to marry a young Al Pacino

Should be higher up, he is brilliant.

I loathed his character in The Boys. Just says how awesome he is!

This is the way

Thank God she avoided Lindsay Lohan's fate.

Hmm, not too sure about this one. Whilst I do enjoy a couple of his movies (mainly Shrek), I do find quite a few of his characters quite similar, to the point it is repetitive, boring and annoying (a bit like me hahah)

This should be higher!

Stefon!

Gone too soon

Anya Taylor Joy is one of my FAVORITE actresses since even before Queens Gambit!!!

I never imagined he would be SO good as Geralt!

I never see the character she plays. I see Angelina Jolie playing a character. She's good, but I'm not a huge fan.

She will forever be my favorite actress.

I love it that he hates the Twilight franchise more than some haters do :D

Yessss

She is underrated but turn in constantly good performances

He'll always be Mr. Bean to me. That's the assignment he understood
