Why is it called so?

Hmm… This you’ll get to know when you’ll venture into the old colonies of Jodhpur built in the vicinity of Mehrangarh Fort. In these colonies, most of the houses are painted blue in colour and hence the name- this is the most probable reason for the city being called so. You can also get a panoramic view of Jodhpur painted in blue dots from above the fort.

This has to be a romantic dinner at Chokelao Mahal Terrace Restaurant (in Mehrangarh Fort) serving ever delicious traditional Rajasthani cuisine.
