Why is it called so?

Hmm… This you’ll get to know when you’ll venture into the old colonies of Jodhpur built in the vicinity of Mehrangarh Fort. In these colonies, most of the houses are painted blue in colour and hence the name- this is the most probable reason for the city being called so. You can also get a panoramic view of Jodhpur painted in blue dots from above the fort.

Clock Tower or Ghanta Ghar

It is a tall tower Located in Old City next to Sadar Market in Jodhpur buily by Maharaja Sardar Singh between 1880 and 1911.
