60 Book Covers That Somehow Made It To Print – And Man, Are We Glad They Did (New Pics)
Writing a book is no small accomplishment. After countless “final final” drafts, edits, and rewrites, finally holding your manuscript—printed, bound, covered—has to feel pretty much fantastic. The work is done. Now it’s up to the reader to pick it off the shelf or stop their scroll and hit “add to cart.” That’s where words take a back seat to images. Before anyone reads the first sentence you no doubt pored over, they see the cover—and that first impression can make or break everything that came before it.
A well-designed cover might draw someone in and earn a long-term place on a bookshelf or coffee table. A terrible one? Well, it turns out there’s a place for those too. Reddit’s r/TerribleBookCovers is dedicated to sharing some of the weirdest, funniest, and most atrocious examples out there. We’ve stacked a few of our best (worst?) ones for you to check out below.

Someone found what it says on the back: "Another whimsical and fun adult, sci-fi fantasy that picks up where my first book, Declan, left off. In this book our protagonist is headed to jail and you can bet, there's going to be a jail break involving plot twists and turns with lots of freaky characters. You wont believe the mayhem that unfolds in this story written by an author that could only be described as a total lunatic with a style all his own. Pick this one up and enjoy a world that's just to amazing to put down [sic]."

Stop The Thyroid Madness!
Depending on where they're coming from, I can be on board. Now it's changed, but for a while removal of the whole organ was rather standard, and it makes it terribly hard to regulate afterwards. Plus, the d***s for this such as Levothyrox have bad side effects (cholesterol, cardiovascular problems), and even with treatments your doctor could look you in the eye and tell you to "take it easy with the sauces and candy" even though you were eating healthily and just, y'know, had f****d up thyroidal hormon levels.
