A few week back, a framed copy of Banksy’s famous “Girl with Balloon” work self-shredded just moments after being auctioned for $1.4 million at Sotheby’s.
But there’s more. Even though it isn't the only print available, that performance made that work worth more than the initial pricing value and this has inspired a series of satirical facsimiles of self-shredding to create arts of high value. Couldn't help but laugh at some of the attempts.
