It may be that it was "just another Tuesday" but the point was that it wasn't "just another Tuesday" for DiCaprio (thankfully). When I studied interpreting at uni, we had to do some interpreting practice using some of Hitler's speeches. (He had an unusual oratory style.) As a Jewish person, I also found that I had to stop occasionally. We had an in-depth discussion of interpreting ethics after the session, which was helpful in processing it.

He lived in the South Park neighborhood of Pittsburgh. I know people who knew him. They said he was a very nice man. As a child he was climbing a railroad bridge and was accidently electrocuted. He was blinded in the accident. He lived on disability.

Why was he told that she was dying by the doctors and she WASN'T? I'm not saying I don't understand at all the desire to protect a loved one from suffering, but damn. She was a human being. She might have wanted to make arrangements for her comfort, cross something off her bucket list, call someone from her past to say goodbye. Those choices were taken away because her husband was informed while she was kept in the dark, and her husband decided it was his right to choose for her.
