In these times, our pets have become even more invaluable than they ever were. They stick with us throughout the day and are first to respond if we have a bad one. That's why pets are a blessing—it doesn't matter if it's a cat, or a dog, or a hamster.

I will be 63 in July. I have multiple cat ears headbands, different colors and styles. I wear something EVERYDAY. Usually I wear my black lace and put either a small flower or bow clip on the left ear, (from the baby department). Pisses my husband off, which is a huge incentive to wear them, especially when someone says they like them. I almost choke to death to keep from laughing at the look on his face.

Hungarian digital artist Rita Vigovszky makes a nice blend of illustrations and comics about her regular life and experiences with her cat, Miyu. Like in reality, most of the time, she's sleeping somewhere near Rita or just doing silly little cat things. "Cats are great inspiration for comics and pictures, as they always do something funny or cute. Even if they do nothing, they still make the pictures better with their cuteness," said the artist to Bored Panda.

One of our cats is old and slow, he can't really hunt anymore so every year he brings me fallen sunflower heads from next door. It is the sweetest thing

Rita has been drawing ever since she was a little girl. She always wanted to become an illustrator, so she became a graphic designer in 2012. She said that she "loved it very much", yet she missed "drawing her own things," so this year she focused more on her own illustrations. You can see the sweet fruits of her labor below. In a way, her comics are very cat-like: they're chillin', killin', nappin', feeling happy, and ready for whatever that happens. I guess living day-to-day with a cat teaches us about how to live the day like one. And it's a good lesson.

The artist also opened up about her own quarantine situation: "I am very lucky because I've already been working from home, so the quarantine didn't interfere with my career, but I'd really like to spend more time outside, meet my friends, and see concerts. Until then, art and my cat are still here for me." The art and the cats are here for us, too, thanks to her illustrations. Wow, I never knew something like this exists. When I read, it's like watching a movie in my head. How is reading for you, if you can't visualise it? Do you like reading regardless or is it not a very fun thing to do for you? Would you say you like the movies better because of it?

I had to leave home for three months, and when I came home my cat, Kiki, wouldn't come to me for three days. We just got cozy again when I had to leave for three weeks to Germany. I'm going to cook her a lot of chicken and do a lot of brushing when I get home! Lol

Cats mostly hate it when you touch their belly. The roll on their back not for belly rubs but to show you that they trust you enough for their vulnerable side to be exposed. So it's not a trap; it's humans misreading cat language. Comic is still funny, though.

My grey tabby seems to shed more fur than he could possibly have on his body, and he likes to press up against my right side under my right arm for intense cuddle sessions. This results in a distinctive ombré effect when I’m wearing a dark shirt, very stylish!

In 2005, scientists from the Monell Chemical Senses Center, in Philadelphia, discovered that a genetic deficiency deletes the sugar detectors on the taste buds of a cat. In other words, cats do not possess the genetic “hardware” needed to taste sweets.

Omg, this reminds of when I was cat sitting last year. I was going to take a shower and I was standing in the bathroom naked. The cat wondered where I'd gone and he poked his head the around the corner and into the bathroom. He kinda jumped and went "MAO" and ran away, presumably sitting in the hall with the above cat's expression. I have never been so insulted in my whole life LOL
