A few years ago, I started doing cross stitch. It was fun, but felt too limiting. I kept seeing embroidery online and it looked much more free flowing, more like drawing or painting. So I gave it a go and found it WAS like drawing or painting. Just a very slow version of it.
I’ve been working as a professional animator since 2010, so it only seemed natural to try animating with embroidery. Afterall, if one embroidery is like making a drawing, then surely I could make several of these “drawings” to create animation.
