Someone once wowed the world by inventing a desktop device that allowed people to print black-and-white documents from the comfort of their own homes. It was a technological breakthrough and not long after, parents were proudly printing photo-quality images for their children's endless school projects.
Today's kids will never know the struggles of paper jams, running out of ink, or dodgy connections going down. They're printing toys, fidgets, and even their own building blocks from scratch. It's all thanks to yet another technological breakthrough in the form of 3D printers. But it's not a hobby reserved for children.

The game is called "Trinity Archetype". OP has a demo out on Steam, but the full game is not released yet. I did not download the demo to try it myself, because I am thoroughly, thoroughly sick of "roguelike" turn-based battler RPGs XD

Would be interesting to have an update, some years on from when these were first posted, to see which, if any, of them have proven effective and useful since that time.

Kind of depends on the materials and where they're used. Even cheap PLA will last a long time if kept indoors and at room temperatures. The problem with owning a printer though, is the desire to keep improving your models.
