I have been a freelance cartoonist for over 15 years. My career began at the age of 4 when I “thrilled” my parents by drawing Fred Flintstone on the living room wall in vibrant Crayola crayons.
Since then, my work has been published and sold internationally in magazines, greeting cards, newspapers, online, CD covers, and in children’s books.
When I'm not creating cartoons, you can find me napping, time traveling, and leaping tall hedges in a single bound!

Oh boy! I had a mini dachshund a few years ago. He slept under the covers and so tight against me I couodn't turn over without scooting him over. He was a whopping 13#s.

Inspiration for my cartoons comes from everywhere and anywhere, sometimes from real life, and sometimes just from my imagination. One time, I dreamed a cartoon, which I thought was hilarious in my dream...but when I woke up, it made no sense at all.
It can be challenging to come up with something funny. If I think a cartoon idea is funny, then I will go with it. Humor is so subjective. Trying to please everyone, is impossible.
The part I enjoy the most is the actual drawing, coloring, and adding effects. It's playtime... It allows me to be 10 years old again.
Oil most likely does not come from dinosaurs. It's is algae and microorganisms buried under the right conditions to decompose and form crude.
Yes it did. Everyone knows when trex dies Exxon buys his remains.
Load More Replies...It sounds corny, but if my cartoon brings a smile to the reader's face, mission accomplished. If my work results in a chuckle, even better. And if the reader rocks back and cackles, home run!
I don't think dishwashers ever properly clean the dishes. They do a great job of sanitizing them with the hot water and steam, but one still has to rinse the dishes off first. Since Im rinsing, I might as well wash the dish(es). I use the dishwasher as my drying rack. Takes up no counter space and holds a LOT of dishes!
Load More Replies...My hubby howled at this one -- I have a "certain" way of wanting the dishwasher to be loaded!
I draw every day. I love to draw, even if it's a doodle. Many of my doodles ultimately become finished cartoons. So, if you have dreams of becoming a comic artist, my advice would be to draw and draw often.
I would also advise an aspiring cartoonist to develop a thick skin. In this industry, we are told "NO!" a lot. So persevere. Keep drawing, keep creating, keep going. Don't give up!
I keep hitting this pinata, but the only things that fall out are alcohol and barbiturates.

I'm sure he would òrder his steaks bloody. Bit of fleece is no Biggie though.
Not sure whether that's the husband or, a contractor. No shortage of jokes for either...

SPALDING!!! (From a Madagascar movie, not sure which one )

It must be hard to make a caricature of Mick Jagger. It always looks like photo realism.
Load More Replies...Love your profile name font (as might be expected). You should show your art, I'll bet it's something we might enjoy...

anyone old enough to remember the I Love Lucy episode, when she was doing the same thing?
In our house it was always the other way around. Mom was always ready to go early while dad was the one who took forever.
Same! My dad always waits until the last minute to get ready, which is when the rest of us are already ready to go, then gets grumpy when we’re late and won’t admit it was his fault!
Load More Replies...I think it is a Christian reference, Goliath and young david, goliath is a giant who was never defeated, then young David beat him when no one else could
Load More Replies...David is wearing clothes? How come he's always naked in the museum?
