Belgium's very own Dieter Bevers, or as he's better known, Quatsch, is a cartoonist who's got a knack for bringing together his amazing drawing skills with a wicked sense of humor, cooking up a bunch of super funny and sometimes downright silly cartoons.
Quatsch's Cartoons have a big following on social media, and it's no surprise why. PSA: This comic is "funny" because "Sisyphus" sounds similar to "syphilis", a venereal disease (STD.) But the growth on the man's back looks like a man rolling a boulder up a hill - namely, Sisyphus. Sisyphus was a figure in Greek mythology, a prince whom Hades punished for cheating death twice by forcing him to roll an immense boulder up a hill, only for it to roll back down every time it neared the top, dooming Sisyphus into repeating this action for eternity. Syphilis, on the other hand, can cause gummas to form on the body in late stages of the disease. A gumma is a soft, non-cancerous growth resulting from the tertiary stage of syphilis. So, this guy's "growth" on his back is a dual reference to both syphilis and Sisyphus. This has been a Way Too Much Information™ presentation by Lakota.

PSA: This comic is "funny" because the tennis player in the background is named "Björn Borg". He is Swedish and "Borg" is his real last name. He was a very popular and famous player in the 1970s.

The guy that posted this has no idea what he's doing. He just used the generic "Comic with a funny twist" and used the first panel of some multi-panel comics so they make literally no sense. The comics are good on the artists Instagram but here half of them make no sense.
