Not far off? It's already here. There exists GPS operated farm equipment right now. Automated harvesters and watering machines are already in use in many places. Welcome to the future! ^_^

There really are tractors out there that are programmed to travel in straight line grids. No need for a driver! It's all computerized.
It's just a really big lawnmower right? We have those already robotically controlled.
