There were jokes in the comedy scene about Cosby hurting women for years before Hannibal Buress made his joke. I heard about it on an episode of the Dollop in an of the hand remark about a year before everything came to light. Hell, Hannibal had been using that joke for months on his tour and it wasn't until the footage came online that the ball started rolling.

My mom was at a luncheon with her good friend who has a son who’s a producer in LA. He stopped by and the women were asking for serious gossip. My mom asked him the question above. His response wasn’t just that Cruise is gay. It’s that he likes young boys. Really young. A couple of years later I was telling my coworker about it. He says “‘my uncle was his driver. He stopped because Cruise was always picking up young boys. Really young.”

Man, I'm surprised the rampant steroid use in A list Hollywood action stars hasn't made this list. It's REAL hard to look and perform stunts like a superhero once you're past 40, no matter how good your trainer/regimen is. When a friend in Hollywood told me this, I literally responded "Whaaaaaa! No! ::surprised Pikachu face::" but 30 seconds of thought and it's, like... Oh, yeah, duh, that scans.

They shut down the J Cole and P Diddy fight and deleted all footage when that happened in 2013. Only recently have people started talking about it
Lore time: Kendrick Lamar had a verse on a Big Sean song called Control. In it he calls himself the king of New York (he’s not from there but NY tastemakers were suuuuper helpful for his career before he blew up) and the west coast. He also called out like 15 rappers by name and said he was better than them in a friendly competition way. Everyone named, except Drake, took it well and either didn’t respond or responded to it in a joking way.
Now the fight. At an industry after party, a drunk Diddy, who had an issue with an LA based rapper calling himself the king of New York, came up to Kendrick and poured liqour on his head. Cole stepped in and said something like “this is why an artist can’t step out the box, you’ll [end] them like you [ended] Tupac”. And then hands were thrown. All footage was deleted since this was a biiig industry event.
However, there’s no denying that Hollywood has tried to sweep some ugly truths under the rug. From crimes to cheating scandals or just outright lies, the list is pretty endless. But every time they hide something, the whispers don’t just fade away.
Instead, secrecy adds to the pizzazz, and people feel like they must know what happened. It’s like the forbidden fruit effect. The more they hide, the deeper people want to dig and find out. And when the world is obsessed with the truth, secrets can hardly stay buried for long.

That joke was made a LONG time ago, well before he was exposed. To be clear, it is the "young" part that is troubling, not the male part. But if you use the word "boy" or "girl" it is more than troubling.

When we revere celebrities, we strip away their humanity, which can enable bad behavior. Studies have shown that celebrity worship is correlated with poor mental health and maladaptive behaviors.

This is more of a rant but I really don’t get the point of Bey and Jay’s relationship… he’s such a notorious cheater starting from rumors with Rihanna back in 2007. I know y’all are gonna say oh that might’ve just been a gossip but there’s too many stories to pass it as a silly rumor. I also found out about stories from multiple sources that they sleep in separate rooms and have a cold relationship. I mean they can definitely co-parent and if they separated they’d have enough money. Just weird..

Morgan Freeman can do no wrong.
He had an affair w his step granddaughter that tan for awhile. I also remember reading an Australian director’s autobiography and he worked with him and had to take him for several lunches in LA and Morgan just blatantly staring at the butts or flirting with the waitresses (who were also slightly creeped out) even though he was very much married.

Didn't that Italian woman, Elisabetta, blow Clooney's cover when she said in an interview after her gig was up "He was just like a father to me and nothing more.." BURN! She must have found a loophole in the contract. LOL. She always did look kind of repulsed by him when she schlepped the red carpets with him, never smiling and no chemistry between them.
