Even if you love your job, I'm willing to bet that at some point, it has stressed you out. Things like high workloads, tight deadlines, and a lack of control over decision-making processes can all cause pressure.

If the problems are temporary and there's little you can do to remedy them, learning to relax is crucial. This can be achieved by taking a walk, enjoying a meal, or having an innocent laugh.

The Facebook page 'Work Memes' is here to help us with the latter. Sharing relatable jokes about everyday problems we face when earning a living, it serves as a reminder that we're all in this together.

Furthermore, 80 percent of employers are struggling to meet demands for increased compensation.

I put stickers on the hand dryers saying, voice activated, say clearly, "Dry my hands". One of the ladies from HR knew it was me. She just laughed and said it would be funny to see who was stupid enough to use them. Best bit was we walked out and heard a manager shouting in the toilet!

In fact, "managing heightened employee expectations is one of the biggest challenges facing employers today," said Jacque Reardon, Head of Client Marketing for Retirement, Insurance, 529 and Wealth Management for Franklin Templeton.

"Understanding employee preferences and effectively communicating available resources is paramount for organizations aiming to attract and retain top talent. Employers must articulate the holistic value of total compensation and benefit packages to ensure alignment with employee needs and preferences."

Open door policies are so that HR can get ahead of any potential lawsuit. They are NOT and I repeat NOT so that you can get issues resolved at your place of employment. If you want things to get fixed form a union.

"To address these challenges, employers must prioritize strategies focused on employee retention and satisfaction, which may entail offering competitive compensation packages and fostering positive work environments that prioritize employee wellbeing and work-life balance," Reardon added. "By aligning with employee expectations and prioritizing their satisfaction, employers can mitigate turnover and cultivate a more engaged and productive workforce."

since my workplace started work from home and "mobil working" aka working on the way to work.. i'm the last person to arrive at the office and the first to go :) because my commute is the longest and i work while riding the train. my boss is okay with it (he works 90% of the time from home) my bossboss hates it because he likes to micromanage us... but the decision that the way i work was okay was made by the big boss himeself so bossboss can go fück himself

Almost two-thirds (61 percent) of workers feel that their financial independence is jeopardized by the current economic environment, as they struggle to achieve important milestones. Other key concerns are recurring expenses (66 percent), healthcare costs (64 percent), and student loan debt (47 percent), and nearly half (47 percent) feel their ability to retire is in jeopardy.

No wonder memes are becoming currency in office life.

Working in retail, I had a woman come up and buy a box of cigs. She then said, "I need to quit smoking. And missing service on Sundays. And sleeping with men I just met." It was only 8:30 AM and I was done that day.
