I was at a Kid's Club at the gym my parents go to. There were these SUPER ANNOYING group of boys just started bothering me! They wouldn't leave me alone, and they were SO ANNOYING. They hurt me verbally and threatened to hurt me physically when I told him I was going to tell an adult they were annoying me. One time, when they were verbally abusing me and I was ignoring him, I guess all of their Moms were friends or something because they all arrived at once. They were all just like, "SON, WHY ARE YOU HURTING THIS POOR GIRL?!" And I loved the look on their faces. They went home and never hurt me again.
I was being bullied on the school bus when I was 11. One day at my stop, my big sister got onboard the bus as I was getting off and asked me who the ringleader was. She prodded the girl in the shoulder and told her that if I was ever bullied again, she'd REALLY give her something to think about.
I was never bullied ever again, on the school bus or anywhere. My big sister was and remains (many decades later) my hero. I love her.
