Big or small, every achievement matters. What’s the one you’re most proud of?

My greatest achievement so far is impacting the lives of vulnerable children.

Children living in extreme poverty, surrounded by violence, d***s, criminality. Based on statistics, such children abandon school, live on the streets and are dead before the age of 30.

And there is this group of volunteers who go regularly in that neighborhood, and I joined them. Children receive food, clothes, medical care and support to continue going to school. They graduate, get a decent job, some obtain college scholarships. Seeing them building a good life for themselves (instead of becoming convicts and prostitutes) is a long and often painful process. At the same time, knowing that you contributed to this outcome gives you a level of satisfaction and inner peace that cannot be described in words.

(Yes, I own a house, I have a career, got promoted several times, traveled a lot, can afford a lot of things. All these seem petty compared to changing someone's life.)
