(backstory, cuz y’all gonna need it: I had a friend since preschool. we got in a super dumb fight, now we ain’t friends anymore, and I hadn’t seen her in like three-four yrs until this point)
So I was in the mall shopping one day, and I run into my old friend’s boyfriend. We start talking, and he tells me she’s in the mall somewhere and he’s just texting her. We just chat for a bit, and then I go shopping again. I stop for Starbucks. Lucky enough, my old friend’s RIGHT BEHIND ME IN LINE. I say hi mildly, and she ignores me. Then she says, “You know, we could still be friends if you bothered to apologize.” Keep in mind, I’d texted her a million times since those three-four years so I was in shock. After I’d ordered my drink, she says “We should go out for lunch one time, you know, maybe re-kindle our friendship?” I look at her like she’s insane and say, “Haha, no thanks. U think I didn’t hear what you said?” Then she looks at me all crazy and I just leave.
