This one's sad. There was a rumour at my school that the really nice (but really young) science teacher had a brain tumour. A few weeks later, he told us that we'd have a substitute for the end of term. When we asked him why, he said that he had to go have surgery for a tumour in his brain. He's now alive and well.
A rumor during covid was that the drama teacher got divorced and started dating the business teacher. They tried to keep it on the downlow but we all managed to figure it out.
Everyone ships them and they are absolutely adorable together.

There was a rumor that the principal (female) go the maths teacher (female) pregnant. Turned out, it was true. The principal was trans and nobody knew .
