I learned that when you get downvoted, you have to wait for a BP staff to approve your account, it could take hours or even days!

Be lenient with downvotes. Disagreeing and actually offensive are two different things.

Yesterday I missed 1 1/2 classes to watch an extremely long presentation about why vaping is bad for you. Apparently the first e-cigarette was invented in the 1960s to help people quit smoking, but the inventor was sued by a bunch of big tobacco companies and had to drop the patent. The design didn't re-emerge until the late 70s. Also, vape pens can explode, creating horribly gruesome injuries that we were shows many graphic pictures of without any trigger warning.

There was supposed to be 20 episodes in season 3, in stead there will only be 3 long ones. The third coming out sometime in 2023 to give the show an ending. And it was supposed to have a season 4. Honestly it's unfortunate that Disney decided to cancel it, The Owl House is a very good show. And yeah, there is a lot of LGBTQ representation, but that's not bad. And it's not an overwhelming amount, just a few gay characters and a non-binary person.

You can’t share any controversial opinions about gender, pronouns, or sexuality on BP without getting downvoted and harassed. These opinions can be spoken outside of BP like in person and be agreed with, but on here you’re looked at as homophobic. Heed this warning fellow pandas with an opinion not 100% following the guidelines and agreeing with everything “minority” related. Tbh I probably won’t follow this advice and keep spreading my opinion peacefully anyways ngl..

This needs to be heard. Honestly just express your views respectfully. I have similar views and the only way I don’t get downvoted into oblivion is doing that.

I think I disagree with the OP more often than not, however, I would encourage him to speak his mind. Just avoid ad hominems, which he mostly does, at least as far as I can tell. But I'd also suggest keeping an open mind. I've been around long enough to know, I'm not always right. If I were, I'd be my wife.

Well it really depends if u were homophobic but mostly if ur gonna be on the internet u just have to deal with it. And that goes both ways. If u post something, prepare to get downvoted, especially if u were rude

Downvotes get people banned. Just disagree or scroll on. I don't agree with everyone's opinion but I move onto the next post.

The FDA is the government body that handles illegal advertising in the USA. However, they have an order of events in which they do things. What I am trying to say is that even though those super misleading ads for mobile games ARE in fact illegal, the FDA most likely will do nothing about them because they usually don't cost people money. I don't know about anyone else but I think that this is crazy.

The FTC handles illegal advertising, but they don't really have teeth. The most they can do is fine you. But first somebody has to report the ad, then they have to take the advertiser to court, which costs a lot of money. And they are notoriously underfunded.

I learnt that if ghosts are real I'd be the one that leaves all your cupboards and cabinets open. For some reason I never shut them after I get stuff out. one time I left the cabinet door open, turned and got something, turned back around and whacked myself square between the eyes. Its getting annoying to me let alone my partner. So yeah I'd be that annoying ghost that leaves all your doors and cupboards open, sorry in advance

In addition to injuries, there a greater chance of getting dust or insects in your cupboard. And it looks sloppy. If you can remember other things, you CAN remember to close cupboard doors, and drawers!

It's quite easy to draw in surrealism. I was in art this week (For our next trimester class), and we practiced drawing eyes, noses, and lips. It's quite easy if you follow the steps given to you and put your mind to it. Also the use of a shading stick instead of your finger for shading. The oils on your finger will smear the graphite in unpredictable directions and is kinda hard to erase.

That curing cancer could very well be impossible. There are hundreds of types of cancer and each one is caused by a number of different genetic mutations. In order to completely prevent cancer from happening, we would need to control every bit of a person's DNA and monitor every bit of DNA replication to prevent cancer from forming. Usually, cancer is caused by a substitution mutation which changes a STOP codon to something else. A STOP codon is what triggers the replication to finish, and without it, the mutated DNA continues replicating uncontrollably, thus causing the quick-spreading disease of cancer. Anyone who knows more about this please fact-check me, I'm just sharing what I learned in my bio class, and I'm not sure if I'm completely correct.
