Take myself out of the situation if I can. If I get frustrated I'll walk away and take 15 minutes to yell in my head before coming back to it.

Ok this is kinda weird but bear with me. I do this thing called a Silent Prayer. Basically I lay down, breathe, and release all my thoughts. It helps a lot, you should try it sometime.

So, when we were covering anger management in a group session we would regularly be told that different methods work for different people and some methods should not be attempted by some people with certain disorders/syndromes. For that reason I wouldn't give out details of most of the "Professional" methods they told us about. That being said, the one that worked best for me works as follows: When something upsets you or makes you angry follow a simple process. Ask yourself, 'Can I do/say something to make the situation right?' If the answer is 'yes', then do it! If the answer is 'no', why let something that is out of your control make you loose control. If there is truly nothing you can do about the problem, accept that it is there and refuse to give it power over you.
