Is there a movie that you have seen that is compelling and sticks with you but is difficult to watch more than once?

"Grave of the fireflies"..... should been seen by a lot of people, but a second viewing is pretty difficult...... just too sad...

"Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom" is actually a good movie. But it's for parts a tough watch. And let's not even get into the book it's loosely based on. And I actually liked the movie and concept of "Tusk", but once was enough. "Cannibal Holocaust" would be more rewatchable if not for the tough animal cruelty (doesn't matter they ate them or not - it's tough to see).

Boys Don't Cry.....powerful movie about gender and sexuality that was ahead of its time. It's hard to watch but I don't regret it.
