Do you have a preferred type of paint, colored pencil, pastel, oil pastel, ink, etc? Which one is it and why? Do you have a brand that seems to work best within that medium?

How can one have a favorite???
I use regular HB pencils most of the time. Sketching and stuff.
For painting, definitely acrylics. I do mostly realism with that, in really bright colors.
My favorite though, if I have to pick one, is probably vine charcoal. It's so fun and messy, but I also love just having black and an eraser to work with.

EVERYTHING!!! I like to experiment in my art, combining mediums and using stuff that wouldn't normally be considered art supplies!
