So I dated these one girl for 6 months. Every day she reminded me that she lowered he standards to get with me and I will never be good enough . She the relationship open for her( she could date who ever she wanted but I hade to stay loyal to her and her only). And every time I tried to leave she would guilt trip me into staying by saying stuff like “ your a selfish b**h and a f**ken a*shole for leaving me”. “ no one loves me or wants me I might ass well go kill myself”

My ex thought I was cheating because I got home an hour late (the train was cancelled). She had a full on meltdown, started throwing things, screaming at me.... I told her to stop being stupid but that just made things worse. She picked up the clothes iron and smashed it over my shoulder (Thankfully she was short so couldn't reach my head), the iron shattered into pieces. It snapped her out of it so I made dinner and thought that was the end of it. The following day I got home, only to be greeted by a wok to the head. The reason... She wanted to do some ironing, but couldn't because I had broken the iron!

Ex decided she didn't want to be with me anymore so she found a new man online. In Germany. We are from the United States. Ran up a $1700 phone bill talking to him. This was pre-cell phones and online bills were not widely available yet. She hid the bill from me when it came in. Then she decided to leave me so she sold a bunch of my stuff so she could get an emergency passport and a one way ticket to Germany.

He never supported me, cheated on me 3 times, never respected my decision, forced things on me. He was super immature for being 20 y/o, never got anything done (education, drivers licence, school) and was super dependent on his mom. My dumbass still stayed with him 2,5 years
