Well, we all know that there are lots of inequalities out there. But what is something that you know happened to someone or happened to you that you find unfair to think about?

I held a volunteer position at my independent living senior apt. bldg. When I took a concern to the property mgr. about a resident, who happened to be a part of the "inner circle," I was fired! From a volunteer position, lol.
Probably when I was told I shouldn’t be playing euphonium because I am a girl. Still playing 5 years later with no regrets.
Ok, I'm sure that this has happened to you guys too, but working on a group project and it turns into a one person project.
About 2 year ago this happened to me, when the teacher was giving feedback she was like oh I rlly love this slides who did it? Was abt to put me hand up, then a classmate in my group did. LMAO cuz the teacher then asked her to explain everything on that slide and she couldn't say anything.

I was a member of an organization called Future Business Leaders of America, a student-run national organization focused on giving students business skills. My senior year, I served as one of eight State Officers, the highest position a member could hold in the state. It was an honor.
I ran for the members in mind. My whole dedication to my position was them.
Six of the other officers ran for the fame. To get their names on the screen. To be celebrities, to be frank.
So much drama ensued and I didn't get along with everyone, which is a feat because I try to get along with everyone.
It wasn't fair to me who was doing good, and to the members because we didn't do much for them.
For some reason, politics often takes precedence over good intentions. Sorry you were marginalized and missed out on opportunities.
Basically, me and my friends are part of the emo group at school. There is this staff member who ill call Leah who is biased against us just because of that. I remember one time, a few of my friends wanted to sit in front of the gym in PE but Leah said no bc its not allowed. About 30 seconds later they go back out there to get water and they see 3 of the preppy/popular girls sitting out there talking and joking around with Leah.
Another time, I was in the restroom and i had been in there at most three-and-a-half minutes but Leah knocked on the door and said ‘oh hi just checking on you, you aren’t cutting right??’. Even almost a year later she still makes sure to always ask me/my friends if we are ok CONSTANTLY and follows us around. Its very annoying.
now we sorta make fun of the fact that she apparently does not believe emos have bladders.
Dress code...
My school starts in late July. One day, it was "Twin Day", so this trio I knew all wore the same racerback tanktop with a logo for a local restaurant on it. You can see where this is going.
By the end of the day, both of the guys had gotten off scot-free, but the girl had gotten lunch detention for refusing to put a jacket on (in 90 degree weather, mind you) and then had been forced to change by the vice principal (a dude).
She never got her shirt back, and the school never said a word, despite the students making a petition for a more lenient dress code in hot weather.
Dress code? STILL? Good grief... our senior class president (valedictorian, head cheerleader, National Honor Society member) was suspended and denied graduation for wearing Jams (board shorts, below the knee). In the 1960s. He successfully argued that he was still the same person no matter what he wore. Dress code was changed. Sounds like your school district needs to crawl into 21st century. Also: taking that shirt is theft. Vice Principal is a neanderthal.
I was in the military and repeatedly denied advancement because my commanding officer said that "eccentric and odd people" don't get promoted. From him down, people went out of their way to keep me from getting sent to promotion boards. Now, I might sound paranoid, but after all of these so-called leaders left the company, the new leadership was wholeheartedly encouraging me to stay in and get the position that I rightfully deserved. Unfortunately, by then my enlistment was ending and I no longer cared...
Oh, that bites. Faced same kind of thing and their ignorance is a loss for you, the unit, and its mission. Hope you're thriving now.
High School: denied career in science, because girls had 2 choices: homemaking or secretarial. Air Force: subjected to humiliating model photo shoot and denied enlistment despite acing ASVAB because I refused to wear makeup and their (too convenient) mini-skirt and tight shirt. Navy: taught combat-intensive skills in ASW avionics but not allowed to go on deployment because I was a girl. Without deployment, no advancement. Also told to consider assaults by my Chief as 'a condition of service.' As Civilian businesswoman: job in Mexico that required my entire crew, but local promoter would only speak to my male employees. Ugh.
