If you play trumpet in band, you instantly become so cool that your coolness actually has a gravitational pull. In addition, there's something (i can't remember the nane) that can happen to your skin if you're too close to a heat source for a really long time- your vessels leak out bits of iron, slowly turning your skin mottled red.
