Without any reason human beings will be cruel to animals, one another and the environment for their own pleasure, comfort or simply to assuage their boredom. People will hurt others for their own entertainment and it’s horrible

The "reason" is that they feel insecure without a recent proof of domination.

How selfish humans are. Its ok to look out for yourself and some selfishness is ok at times but theres people who are billionaires and there are people who cant feed themselves and don’t have a place to live because of the messed up economy. thats the difference between healthy selfishness and humanity going downhill

The urge to put something away for a rainy day is good for people, but like any other natural urge, it can get turned up to an extreme degree, and this one upsets all of society if we allow freedom to hoard.

Cruelty. Animals can do very bad things too but they are not cruel. We are intelligent enough to understand the consequences of our actions, to put ourselves in the shoes of others. And yet humans chose time after time to hurt others knowing that it will hurt them. It’s simply horrible.

Ravens eat the eyes of lambs, and Orca eat the tongues of Humpback whales. Other animals take revenge. They just are not as talented at cruelty as we are.

This might sound strange, but I hate human intellect. We assume that we can comprehend the "real" reality, ultimate truth, etc. In fact, because of our intelligence, we tend to rationalize things, no matter if they're right or wrong. Also, intellect causes us to suffer even more, according to Dostoyevsky.

it's also very stupid for the rich countries. the poor countries with insufficient resources end up acting as incubators for new and worse variants. Richer countries have to understand that they will not be safe until everyone is safe.

I agree. We should try to reduce the population to ensure that we have resources and space enough for everybody to have a good life. Anybody having more than 2 children is stealing resources from other people who will be poor because of them.

Selfishness and ignorance. Ever since we've existed, the Earth has been different. We've been hunting animals and poaching and making more and more species endangered. We also have caused climate change and are changing the Earth faster than ever before. We're selfish and our wealth inequality is staggering.

Greed. That too many people want to have everything, sometimes at the expense of other people instead of us all looking after each other. Also, they often don't care about the consequences, like the planet suffering because of their desire to make more money.

People are so selfish and inconsistent. They hate people that don't have the same views as them. If we all were selfless and helped each other out of our own free will and respected differences, the world would be a much better place.

Knowledge has never been so easily accessible and yet a bunch of us, humans, still decide to ignore it by believing ridiculous conspiracy theories shared on social medias by utter morons. Worst, scientists is warning us and developing/proposing sustainable SOLUTIONS to life-threatening problems but we decided to ignored it, because the pockets of politicians and/or decision maker are lined with money from those who don't want those solutions to come into effect (oil companies, insurance companies, gun lobby etc.).

Humans have the amazing ability to feel hatred and superiority. The world would be a heck of a lot better if at least people were not racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, ect. For some reason we need to feel that we are better than someone else so we are constantly reinforcing that.

Sometimes I watch something amazing, like Falcon and the winter soldier, and think… wow. Humans are incredible. And then I realise that in an entirely fictitious tv show, with an entirely fictitious plot, the incredibleness of humans astounds me even more as I realise that the themes contained are as real as the fact that I’m eating chicken right now. And I think, wow, humans suck. And yet we are so self damaging. We manage, again and again, to make incredible work in so many different art forms about how much we suck, knowing that we suck, and ‘trying’ to fix it.

I am astounded both by the idiocy of humans as a race and by our ability to be fully aware of our destructive actions and not care. So this is what I hate about humans, yet in some odd way also what I respect/love/admire/*indistinct feeling of awe* about humans.

Sorry for going all philosophical ;)

If you study ancient literature, you will find stories that have the basic idea that life would be so much better if people weren't such a**holes. For thousands upon thousands of years, people have thought this and yet, enough people have said "Nah, i'd rather be an a**hole, thanks" that we're now suffering through a pandemic with no end in sight while also watching the environment get irreversibly wrecked. Humans are fundamentally awful and i'm glad we'll probably get wiped out soon enough.

The fact that we made coming out a thing. It’s so hard to say it, I’ve been struggling for the last 4 years and I’ve been in the closet 5. I just want to feel free from the dysphoria I’ve been dealing with. Seriously, I just want coming out to not be looked at as an easy thing. Then maybe my anxiety won’t show up and make me doubt that this is a good idea. I don’t even have homophobic parents, just a sister who needs to be educated. I know I can deal with my sister if coming out was a simple IM PANSEXUAL, DEMISEXUAL, AND GENDERQUEER!
