I live in Ilchester, Maryland. I love living here. It’s so diverse, everyone (for the most part) is so accepting and kind, the standard of living is just up there, and our schools are routinely in the top 10 nationwide.

The only issue is that it can feel like a bubble sometimes, and even though some issues exist, it still feels like a romanticized reality, and it becomes really easy to fall out of touch.

I live in Bangalore and the only reason I like it here is because it rains almost every night so there’s always some lingering petrichor in the morning

I hate it because of the insane amount of traffic. It takes me one hour to go from home to school and if we go out on weekends, we will be out for 5 hours no matter how little time we spend at our destination

i live in texas, in the dfw area. i hate the transphobia everywhere, it’s a bit better but not by much than the homophobia. also it’s very hot. but it is pretty i will admit (at least where i live)
