Becky. When I was little, I was about 6, (before her rights were terminated) I would name my stuffed animals after her because I was in foster care and missed her. Then when I was 10, she started back up on meth and other drugs. The judge said that we could have a good bye visit, but she never showed up. That was one of most hurtful things anyone has ever done to me. Becky was my birth mother.

I'm a teacher, so for me certain names are ruined because of kids I have taught. Not because they were necessarily bad kids, but they were challenging. Sometimes though I have later had another child with the same name who is the opposite, so it redeems it a bit.
