For way too long I worked in a grocery store cutting steaks and grinding hamburger, amongst other things. The meat department had these huge windows which was a gift and a curse if you ask me, but thats beside the point. Anyway, you work in the same room every day, with these big windows long enough and you start seeing the same people over and over. Some are hot chicks, some are bankers, lawyers, mechanics, whatever. The point Im trying to make is, some people look weirder than others. One guy I thought to be particularly weird, he always wore overalls and white tshirts. Its not real weird if youre a old farmer, but this guy was maybe late 30s. His blonde hair was cut was a little weird too. And he spoke with an un-natural soft-spokenness when he did speak to anyone. We saw this guy every week for years and all we (the dept) could conclude rationally was that this guy must be 'special needs'. Fast forward a few months one day the guy stops my coworker Tim out on the floor to ask about whatever. I wasnt out there. Didnt hear the conversation. Tim comes in off the floor and says to me, 'You know what? I think that guy is gay.' (Not that theres anything wrong with that) to which I replied 'Maybe he is'. Ah, who cares right? So a few weeks or months, perhaps a year (I drank alot more back then) goes by, and this guy comes in with another man, and I could tell immediately that Tim was correct in his previous assessment of the guy. Too correct in fact. Cause this new guy looked super off-putting. Creepy even. Then the sudden realization hit me. I went back into my department, pointed the two guys out to my friend Tim and I said 'Tim, tell me that guy doesnt dress like that to look like a young boy for his partner there.'. Tim looks at them, then he looks back at me and says 'What you just said about them is f****d up. F****d up because youre probably right.' Tim and I were quiet for the rest of our respective shifts.
I found out that my teacher is a pedo. He was that one funny teacher that every student loved and he would go around lunch and talk to all the kids, i remember showing him card tricks i would learn everyday. He didn't come back to school the next year and found out through a friend he was messaging and meeting up with a student (this is high school) and almost no one knows about this or ever speaks of it. Creepy thinking about what he was doing and that he would still talk and hangout with the rest of the students like nothing.
