Wow! That is fantastic, really poignant..... beautiful. Too cool!! Oh, and Camlann.... Fkn awesome, really been getting into them!! ( I've been down with the Covid for a week sooo I've had plenty of time to explore new music, shame I feel like absolute cr@p!!!)

Thank you so much, that means a lot to me! But I'm sorry you've caught Covid, I hope it's not too bad and you're already recovering!!! (I caught it in April and felt very much like cräp too. For weeks!) Get well soon!!! And Camlann: Cool that you like them too! Time to explore you say..... These bands are maybe not THAT special, but I think really nice, so maybe you'd want to give them a try: Hapax (e.g. Silvery Track) and A Projection (e.g. Darwin's Eden). Definitely worth a try: Hante (e.g. Living in a French Movie). You could listen to these while taking pics of your art to post on BP! ;-)

I like the balance of light and dark , and most of all the green next to a rough white. Every line has continuity. Great work.

Did something similar, except the eyes are just scratched out in black. I made a post with it actually.

Cool that you posted a pic! I'm not that much into mythology, but when I saw your pic I was instantly reminded of those ancient Venus figurines (like Venus of Willendorf or Venus of Dolni Vestonice), only interpreted in a modern way. I didn't want to embarrass myself by pointing this out, but after looking up Gaia I might not be that far from what you had in mind? I like these a lot and there are so many things to read into them!

Wow, you are 100% correct with the connection with the Venus of Willendorf! These figure were to be part of an installation piece, which unfortunately never reached fruition based around the Venus figure .... The original concept was to be a circle of these figures, in the centre of which a wickerwork Venus figure rises from the earth.... I love these figures, they are probably the best work I have ever done ( and that is saying a lot because I am pretty hard on myself when it comes to art!!)
