You have to make sure it has equal exposure to the heat, or you will burn some bits, as demonstrated here.

Sorry about the blurry picture I had to take the picture in a rush while he was still like that. He is extremely obese…..he currently weighs 26 pounds… to put that in comparison we could split him in half and get two adult cats plus a kitten

I remember Ann Reardon addressing this "hack" in a video. She sacrificed a microwave to teach us it can't work and to never do it.

It can actually work, and she shows how... but it's a terrible method and apparently doesn't even taste good for all the effort. What you do is heat for 30 seconds in a big bowl, take the stuff out of the microwave, whisk, then back in... again and again and again. Debunking didn't destroy the microwave, but it caused one heck of a cleanup. That poor debunking microwave. (The video is 'Debunking Fake Cooking Videos 2020' - How to Cook That) You can make Dulce de leche by opening the can of sweetened condensed milk, cover the top with foil, put that in a water bath, and heat it - make sure you keep the water topped up. She discusses this in 'NEW Debunking Exposing Fake Viral Videos 2020'. I think you can also stir it in a pot on the cooktop? Ann Reardon's videos are great, highly recommended. She shows how deceptive and dangerous some of those 'hacks' are.

Boil the can unopened in water for 2 hours, best caramel ever! Works with the ring-top cans too, been doing it for years. Just don't pierce the can afterwards until it has completely cooled down!!

Caramel is best made in a pressure cooker (like instant pot) or, if you've got the tile (4 hours) on the stove. But I'm up voting this for the cook's effort, even if it's lacking in technical understanding. I'm impressed.

Never put your cakes together until they are completely cool and never ice/frost them until they are completely cool. If you are new to cake making stick to boxed cake mix and premade frosting in a cup.

It's not a fail. Maybe I misunderstood. I thought it said post your best or failed baking or cooking. This was my first attempt at making anything like this and it came out surprisingly well. Others posted what looks like their best baking/cooking on this. If we're wrong, then they need to rethink how they word these things. Edited to add: The cake is actually kind of crooked. Can't see it that well from picture angle, so I guess you can count that as a fail.

Went to breakfast at my universe College cafeteria one time and got Hard boiled egg. Cracked it open to find a fully formed chick in it. I almost vomited right there. Have not ate eggs since... that was nearly 20 years ago.

There's a food in the Philippines that is actually similar to this! I'm pretty sure it's called Balut? My grandma loves it but still doesn't like the idea of a baby bird in a boiled egg. So she has to ignore it.

I've burned my fair share of parchment paper, and that's NOT parchment paper. It actually appears to be copy paper/printer paper, you can tell by the way it burned at the edge closest to the heat source, as well as the way it burned. It could also be freezer paper, or low end wax paper, but my money's on non-food paper

I've had this happen. Try turning the berries into a coulis before adding them, or blending and straining out any seeds/stems. Add the milk first, and add in fruit bit by bit. Too much fruit at first just gums up the blades and fails from the get go. Now, if this happens again, mix in the milk, and freeze 😁 Flake it up with a fork every so often (15-20 mins?), and make yourself a nice treat!

Kerosene wouldn't be in a bottle like oil, and they look nothing alike. Plus, like someone else said, the fumes.

People in other countries use kerosene to fuel their cooking stoves. They may have transferred some into a smaller container like a old cooking oil bottle for easier use. Not sure why they couldn’t smell it once opened.
