My book is Bricali. I am writing it with a friend about a wolf and a cat who turn out to be sisters and have to stop an evil ghost-cat from… actually, I’m not sure yet, I’m just seeing where the story takes me.
My working title is A Cat and a Mouse.
The story is told from the perspective of a 16 year old boy who is the son of a successful politician. His whole life, he has been prepared to also have a career in politics, but he longs for a normal life, and approaches politics with a lot of cynicism, seeing dishonesty everywhere in the political world. In the world of this story, a war is being fought between two countries, and his small country nestled in the mountains is mostly safe from the violence, but he has difficult choices to make as they begin to feel the economic and social consequences of the conflict.
I'm writing a post apocalyptic queer fantasy romance called star! It's about two boys who meet almost a decade after civilization collapses. One of them has magic but hides it due to stigma. It's sort of slowburn?? Idk. They get off on the wrong foot but end up traveling together. More happens but seeing as someone who I know irl and who is reading it as I write it is on this site I won't give it away

My story is a semi-super-human society, in which maybe two percent of the planet has powers. My main character's ability is that she can tear apart matter at the atomic level and reconstruct it however she wished. She's widely considered as one of the most powerful people on the planet, but not only because of her ability. She's highly manipulative, which people only realize once it's too late, and by pulling strings and making carefully worded threats, she basically controls the world from behind the scenes.
