I know I saw the site. And ofc I know you probably wouldn’t. (I hope…) and look I’m sorry I didn’t realize that. But what else am I supposed to call it? Favorite animal? No cuz those are two different things. What about inner animal?

Patronus, icon, avatar, kindred spirit, daemon. Take your pick.

I'm not judging you, it is something I just learned about not long ago myself. I'm no expert on it so I don't know what to say, but you are right it is different than favorite, it is something deeper, more internal. I personally think "inner animal" would be a much safer term, but I could be wrong.

@Amy, I'm not offended, I'm just pointing something out. This is about the first-nations people of North America. Did you know that they just found an unmarked grave with 215 native-American children in it at an old boarding school? Some were as young as three years old? The way the indigenous populations of the world have been treated is horrendous, but you go ahead and lament about not being able to sing a nursery rhyme... because that's what matters in life.
