Furries and LGBTQ+ people are like a Venn Diagram, google what it means because I have better things to do than explain the importance of 2 circles in this argument
Load More Replies...And if someone hates your HUGE hobby as being a furry, it can hurt the person. And eventually they hurt themselves. It’s basically hating a friend.
Not that this impacts me personally, but it is my understanding that using the term "spirit animal" like this is inappropriate as it trivializes something that is deep and meaningful to another culture. -- https://www.discovermagazine.com/planet-earth/please-stop-using-the-term-spirit-animal
Maybe you shoud read it yourself properly as it says: Quote: "Context Is Everything: In other words, the idea of having an animal to relate to, or that inspires you, isn’t offensive." Native American Culture is not the only one using the Idea of Spirit Animals as you can find it all around the World - Therefore you could say this is more likely a Term at this point, as it has obviously nothing to do with Native Aermicans.
