Hey Pandas, At What Age Did You Learn That The Lgbtq+ Community Existed?
I did not know that people could be LGBTQ+ until I was 12 years old, and people have been very surprised, so I was wondering what other people's experiences were.

i was in around first grade when i first met a trans person (knew of them before i think, one of my mums late friends was trans and she told me about her a few times), one of my classmates said that they wanted to become a boy or soemthing, i was a bit comfused (wasnt to sure that there were diffrences, since id gotten the whole girl;s can do anything boys can talk a few times) and was around fourth grade when a kid explained that gay people existed, i was a bit mad that id never thought about it before for some reason
Okay, so I knew that gay men existed since I was 8, and transgender people since I was 9. However, I was not really aware of lesbians, or any other sexuality, until I was 10 or so, and I started realizing that I might not be straight.
