I’m going to cover up the downvoted comment by saying this. I quite love the idea of a mammoth delivery system, and yes, I had cancer and my own grandfather had cancer of the breast, and sometimes, making jokes about what you suffer from or from the tests just makes things a little easier. I joke about my useless thyroid because a. I don’t have one and b. I had cancer and the thyroid was awfully large.

Yep. When I had good insurance, doctors loved doing extra tests "just in case". With crappier insurance, they don't want to do any tests, because "it's probably nothing".
