Hey Buddy Comics are about relationships between dogs and their owners. They encapsulate the quintessential experience of having a dog: from love to heartbreak, the cuteness and silliness of each and every situation.
I have been writing short dialogues about my dog since he was a puppy. The intense affection I felt for a creature I could not communicate with inspired me to imagine the conversations we would have if I could. Let's be real here, who hasn't wished they could talk with their dog? I'm pretty sure the conversations would be lovely.

my neighbor has a dog and if u have food, he would sit down and stare at your plate wanting the food.

Hi there. I really like your cartoons and was wondering whether I can share them on our new news website (with your permission) to help relax our readers😁. Do let me know if this is possible. Thanks
Unknowingly, it amounted to loads of fun little imaginary conversations. Recently, I realized that the vast collection of stuff I had written might entertain other people. The problem was they were kind of boring to look at in text form. They needed to be brought to life to have the same energy and vigor as my actual dog.
Don't want to be rude but a cat will most likely sit on you with its a*s up on your face.
Not rude when it's the truth... at least in this case!

You can see the fruits of our labor below. This is the 4th time we've been featured on Bored Panda. Check out parts 1, 2, and 3 at their respective links here.
I love every boy I’ve ever met. A little wrong, but I’ll accept it.
I hope you like them. We also make custom commissions and comics for our most generous Patreon contributors, or add a bonus comic from time to time. There are many more to come! Find us on Instagram, Facebook, or our webpage if you want to see them.
That would be me. Cats, too. We currently have two Shelties and four cats. 😜😂
Right before I got my husband his first husky we discovered I was allergic to dogs. Three huskies later and my allergies kill me every time they do a full shed. Last two years I ended up with an ear infection that ruptured my ear drum. I told my doctor that unless I was in danger of dying from the allergies there is no way I am giving up my dogs!
Load More Replies...ah, me. I became severely allergic to my ESA dog. Part of her function involves sleeping in my bed. The allergist asked if I was going to stop her doing that. I just kinda blinked at him. "She's a dachshund. Short of locking her up sir I doubt I could stop her." Soooooo I'm on long term immunotherapy for the allergy and guess who is curled up on my stomach right now.
yeah we have two cats and both my parents are allergic but it would be devastating, and I mean DEVASTATING to me and my sis if we got rid of 'em
Load More Replies...You accept that they can speak to humans but not dogs. Interesting.
Load More Replies...Who was it that said "I hope to be the kind of person my dog thinks I am" ?
Dogs don't get the virus so you can cuddle with your best friend for as long as you want
Unfortunately, where I live (Catalonia), we have a few confirmed cases of kitties getting infected. It doesn't seem to spread from cats to humans, just from humans to cats. Vets are telling people to be extra clean and careful with their pets so as to protect them from possibly getting sick. I have a cat who suffered from coronavirus when he was a kitten (he's 6 years old now; I found him when he was tiny and really, really sick) and his respiratory system is completely destroyed, poor thing. I would die if he caught Covid-19.
Load More Replies...I heard it from the World Health Organization first. The WHO let the dogs out.
It broke my heart when I heard about all of the pets that were abandoned or dumped and taken to shelters when this whole virus s**t broke out. People are just disgusting and cruel that do and did that.
Seriously, people are that worried about a virus to get rid of their dog? Seems like they never wanted them in the first place. Sure, their fur can carry it but not them so as long as you give em nice long baths and be careful on walks, you should be fine.
Dogs and cats can get the virus, but humans spread it to the animals not the other way around. Just be careful and keep clean when around your pet, specially if you went out and about.
why would you get rid of your dog... they're more quarantined than you are. wtf
aaaaaaaaaaaaaw he's protecting her from the evil roomba
This reminds me of the scene from the secret life of pets 2 when the baby copies what max and dug are doing
welp, if he wanted a less destructive pet and did that, he's in for a surprise

Load More Replies...i just got back on bored panda and in the time i was gone me and my family had to put our dog down becuase he was 14 and was not doing well
But they are! Not their fault if our laps aren't that big - thought somehow a lap will always big just enough.
Load More Replies...I’ve heard that dogs like squeaky toys because it sounds like the screams of their prey. I know I’ll get downvoted for saying this but oh well.
my dog sleeps with a toy in his mouth it SOOOOOOO cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Actually, dogs like squeaky toys because it imitates a small animal dying
Were you spying on my dog? A new squeaky sends him into raptures, then when he settles down with it, the teeth appear and the gnawing begins. He keeps after the thing until he has the squeaker in his mouth.
The dog Aries in my house to a tee. He is like this with tennis balls too.
I had a dog like that. She would rip the toy a part, till she got the squeaky thing out. Then she was happy.
It's the same heaven for all. I'm definitely going to see my Mac again.
Same things with the cats...mine follow me and pound on the door to be let in. Our animals are such buddies.
Load More Replies...The old family dog, Jake, would open the door on my mom and walk in.
Why all the downvotes for the comment about the person who disagrees? Yes there are similarities, not it is not the same. Ask anyone with a dog and a child they will tell you the same. It doesn't invalidate the work needed to raise and train a puppy or keep your dog happy. It just is not the same on the long run. It's okay to disagree with other people's opinions, we don't need to be jerks about it.
I've had multiple dogs raised from birth and gave birth to and raised multiple children. it is exactly the same with the exception of slightly different body language used for dogs since they can't actually ever speak english.
Load More Replies...While puppies prepare you for babies (minus the diapers), cats prepare you for teenagers.
lol definitely. Never wanna be around you, all of them are sarcastic even though they can't even talk, but you know if they could they would be spewing ironic comments left and right
Load More Replies...Ughh, I can't stand people that say this kind of s**t.. "you're dog isn't a kid" - my dogs ARE my kids, they're loved and treated like children and in fact they're much better then any human brat.
While I don't agree with calling someone else's child a brat I do agree that our pets are our kids. I have two young kids and four dogs. My dogs are spoiled rotten and are my kids. In fact, my in-laws call them their grand puppies. My dogs even get Christmas and birthday gifts!
Load More Replies...And people like that are the main reason that I don't have kids. Just dogs, dogs, dogs. Dogs are enough! 🐾🐾
It's not the same. Can you lock your kids in a kennel & leave them alone in the house for 8 to 10 hours a day? Can you take a kid for a walk with a chain around their neck? Can you have your kid neutered when they become teens? I think if you did any of those things, you'd be in serious trouble with Child Protective Services.
only that those that don't like animals at all or have one that they love as children will say that. those of us that LOVE our animals as children will ALWAYS disagree.
Well, it's not. There are some similarities, but it's really not. It may be like having a toddler, but you didn't go through pregnancy, didn't go through numerous sleep-deprived nights to feed them, and aren't expected to raise them into independence. You don't send them to training school for over a decade and are expected to continuously assist their progress there. They are also unlikely to mention embarrassing private things about you (like children might unknowingly do), nor will they ever disagree about political and or/religious matters.
Yeah, that's why I will ALWAYS have dogs and NEVER have kids. Plus the dog is grateful and loves you unconditionally while you could be the best parent ever and the kid could still hate you or become a horrible person. It is however bold of you to assume that every parent went through pregnancy...
Load More Replies...Personally I find this isn’t true... dogs are much harder to raise. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, humans grow up and learn to fend for themselves, dogs will always rely on you. But that’s my own experience I’ve only had 2 children and 2 dogs.
But he is missing him in that moment/all the time, so it is an ongoing action. I'm not a native speaker but I guess "Missing" is correct.
Load More Replies...This is the same with my cats too, one second they're yelling at squirrels (that sounds really weird lol) and running around ignoring you and the next they're begging to be pet and fed and hiding from the neighbor's dogs like you're the only one they could ever rely on.
Yeah, well, I cried when I had to say goodbye to my fur babies. Hugs before, tears after - many tears. But I always went right to the shelter and got a new one. However many you love, there are always more waiting to be loved.
Lost three dogs in a year snd another has terminal cancer. Just rescued a pup with a seizure disorder and severe separation anxiety. I love my dogs with all my heart. It was hard to have three go in quick succession, but two had cancer and were asymptomatic until the end and the third’s arthritis got so bad that he could not walk. But, there is always another best friend in rescue or the shelter.
Load More Replies...I cried an awful lot. It was not a dog but a cat and a rat. But trust me, any animal can give you as much love as you give to them. <3
My old dog died 2 years ago because of a tumor.I still miss her to this day.
You always will. The feelings just become an everyday part of you - just like the love did.
Load More Replies...This is the reason why i cannot live together with a pet again, because i'm afraid of not being able to deal with the loss.
I do understand but I think of it like this: The dog already exists whether or not I share my life with them. The dog will still one day die whether or not I share my life with them. The only difference is that I got to know the dog and shared many, many happy years and I know I'll have been a good human for my dog - I will do my absolute best for them. Someone else might not do such a good job. It's hard to lose a much loved friend but they are so, so worth it. Not everyone can cope though and you have to do what's best for you.
Load More Replies...I really cried at this it is so sad! he did not cry but I did!!!!!
Some dogs usually let the other one win in a play fight, so I think that is what is going on. (My dogs do the same thing)
I always expected corgis to have little squeak barks until i heard my uncle's roommate's corgi bark at the door. it sounded like they had a full on german shepherd in there.
so true, my sister has this annoying habit of calling any dog she see's by saying "c'mere puppy"
that aint too bad of a habit, all dogs are adorable furry puppy babies
Load More Replies...the tiny white one getting bonked on the noggin reminds me of my own fur baby. Sweet thing. Not too bright. Love her with all my heart.
The gravy bone one is accurate in my house - one doggo catches it every time and the other doggo I have to remember to toss the treat towards her paws as she'll duck instead of trying to catch it.
Had my dogs trained to come running if I said "oops!" as it meant I'd dropped food.
My dog doesn't need to be trained at this because he's always around when food is around 😁 and always has the sad, hungry eyes
Load More Replies...My dog knows to just follow me when I have food because I'm clumsy. She's also short haired so there's not much cleaning on that end.
It's all good until the roomba rolls over the accidental poop in the living room. Or the spot where the cat threw up.
When I don't have the dogs around I have to stop and actually think that I can't just tap my foot. On the other hand the dogs more than make up for any cleaning they do with the volume of hair they produce and then leave (why I haven't started collecting and spinning it still sometimes puzzles me, we had enough on three smallish rugs when I last vacuumed to knit a scarf) and their escapades.
So true! My kids will be in the yard and as soon as they hear a bag crinkle or anything they come running in thinking it's a treat/bone or some kind of food.. it's so funny!
I can relate to every single one. Nice illustrations and a wonderful way of expressing a pet owner’s human heart (oh and for the pet, too) 👏🏻
I want a dog soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo badly!!!!!!!!!!
Me too! I'll be in the other room and tell my fiancé I miss my babies and he says they're right there in the other room.

Does this qualify as a dad joke (even though it's from a mom and it's actually funny)? ;-)
I wonder if dogs can map a slaughtered chicken to birds as living animals.
I love all of them, I don't have a dog at present but I will always remember our German shepherd, silliest good boy

They're so cute! Some of them made me cry though. I'm glad there are more now.

The Rainbow Bridge Poem Just this side of heaven is a place called the Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spott
