Tongues Out - Series 1 (an original 12-picture series)

From a single Labrador to a pair of Red Wheaton Basset Fauve de Bretagne dogs, I celebrate dogs having fun through my photography.

I'm Chris Miller, and I'm a leading UK dog photographer with a passion for capturing the true personality of every dog I photograph. Using only natural light in the dog's familiar surroundings, I often end up with a few outtakes. Every session results in these funny and whimsical moments, which I absolutely love to capture and share. I feel incredibly privileged to photograph dogs, and I strongly believe that each dog deserves to have their story told through photography.

I believe that dogs are best photographed within a natural environment. It is a combination of my patience, knowledge in canine behavior and formal photographic training that allows me to photograph each dog with heart-warming and often humorous portraits. In doing so, we can then all celebrate the very essence of who a dog is. Photography is my passion, pets are our life.

I love nothing more than capturing that unique emotional connection and deep, unconditional love between an owner and their dog. With a dog so relaxed and enjoying the session, it means I can capture some truly fun moments too.

I've compiled 12 canine images into 'Tongues Out - Series 1,' which is an original photo series for everyone who adores dogs. I have a special place in my heart for these images, often considered outtakes, and I can promise that there will be more Tongues Out series in the future. Perhaps, I might even put together a book to spread laughter and smiles among all dog lovers.

Harvey looks like he has a big centipede going for his throat, but it could be his collar.

A lolling tongue detracts a teeny tiny bit from a look of Steely Concentration, some would say. I say it makes him awesome!

Looks so like my patterdale boy - the ultra glossy fur too! The border terrier part is a tad well hidden but a beautful dog.
