Since when was Cyprus in Asia? I get that it's got parts in Asia but it's been part of the EU since 2004. Load of bollocks.

Geographically Cyprus belongs to Asia (I think it has to do with the plates it's situated on) but culturally and politically it's deemed as a European country, also taking into consideration the bonds between the island and Greece, hence its inclusion in the EU.
