Famous Tattoo Artist Offers To Ink People For FREE If They Agree To Put Their Arms In A Hole For A Surprise

It might be quite shocking, discovering how much your dream tattoo might cost and the saying “what you pay for is what you get” strongly comes in play here. However, Scott Campbell, a well-known tattoo artist based in the Williamsburg part of Brooklyn, New York, has created the ultimate test of trust in his work: he offers free tattoos to people as long as he gets to choose the design and not show it to them until it’s done. The name of his project, playing on everyone’s favorite truck-stop delight, is “Whole Glory.”
Not so long ago tattoos were meant for sailors, freak-show entertainers, and general low-lives, but as you can see from the works of Scott Campbell, the fine lines and intricate details might even suit the Queen herself (though she might not need to worry about finding a way to getting a tattoo for free).
The trust these people place in him when they stick their hands through the wall for a free tattoo isn’t unfounded – Campbell has tattooed celebs like Marc Jacobs, Orlando Bloom, and Penelope Cruz. Nonetheless, he does thank each person for their trust in him and his art. What do you think of the work he did?

Tattoos are way to personal and permanent to be done randomly.......But props to the this tattoo artist for finding a clever way to get practice and the chance to experiment freely.
I think the trust required to do this make is personal in and of itself. The tattoo has a story because of it's creation, rather than getting a tattoo to honor a past story.
Tattoos are personal because they usually express something meaningful about the person wearing it or at the very least it expresses their own style. Just trusting someone to give you a tattoo doesn't in and of itself make it a personal experience to me. Yes the tattoo does have a story because of it's creation, and the story is,.....I got a completely random tattoo for free.
makes it*
He's quite an accomplished tattoo artist... I don't think he's doing it for the practice.
I mourn your lack of storytelling then, if that's the best you can come up with :)
i believe he has reached a level beyond doing this for practice.. =) this is for publicity and marketing, not practice =)
Oorrrr that's how YOU feel about tattoos, and these people felt differently. Got quite a few myself and there's zero meaning or story behind them. I just thought they looked good.
he is a famous artist
Tattoo glory hole
Exactly why the concept was called “Whole Glory.”
That's exactly what i thought :😂
I've been using those holes ALL WRONG!!
I don't know where your tattoo is now but I'm pretty sure I don't wanna see it. :[]
