This Galaxy Hair Trend Is Out-Of-This-World
139Kviews
Galaxy hair is a variation of the pastel and rainbow trend that has women and men alike rushing to the hair-stylist. What makes this trend different from pastel hair is that those dying their hair post pictures of themselves next to an image of a galaxy with similar coloration. But there's some maintenance involved.
“Visiting the salon every few weeks to re-gloss any areas that may have faded from the hair [is required],” Cassandra Cuccia, colorist at the Marie Robinson Salon, told Mashable, “It's also important to be gentle and use minimal heat after this process is done because the hair will be sensitized from all of the lightening.”

Galaxy Hair
The color combination and saturation on this one takes my breath away. It is my favorite of the series.
I think they look fabulous! I just wish that at age 74 I had more hair so I could do this!
That guy did it with short hair. Why not at least ask your stylist if they could do it for you. Pick one out show it to them and see if they can make it work for you!
I am 77 and have green syreaks in my hair - purple last year.
Me too. I would love to do this but I don't think I could afford the upkeep.
There were a couple of them I really love! Wish I had the cajones to do that, but at my age (65), my family would n-e-v-e-r understand.
Oh gosh, at your 'age,' then, what do you have to lose? Give your family something to talk about, lol
It's your hair, not theirs. At your age, you've earned the right to do whatever you want. I'm 61 and I'm considering cutting my hair short and doing something wild with the color. Screw what anybody else says.
My mum sometimes dyes a bit of her fringe pink and she's 67, so it's never too late to do something different :)
People say that, but at the end of your life you aren't going to look back and find joy in how tame and complacent you were. If they love you, they'll understand it's just hair and it makes you happy. (my hair is currently lavender, so I do know from experience)
My family HATES my blue hair, and I am 21. Everyone else loves it, even the hairdressers that cut my hair yesterday (and I dye my hair myself). You would look fierce :) it was the best decision I ever made with my hair. Have the time of your life, do crazy stuff, don't let fear of conventions stop you from enjoying your life :)
no, good reply, what am I doing. Sorry, that WAS meant to you :D
sorry, wrong reply :D
If you like it, they would, too. I am 77 and have green streaks in my hair (purple last year). I get lots of great comments from total strangers.
My mom is 58 and she did it!
Hello everyone, I would move this colours in my hair. Unfortunately, with brown, almost black hair, it is very difficult to me to have colourfull results with vegan colorations. Does anyone have a tip?
You could also try doing some deep pinks and purples. I think it would look really cool.
Check out #19!
You would have to get your hair bleached first in order to do it, but hair dressing equipment and the technology evolved. There are products that make it minimally damaging to bleach your hair. But don't worry. There are bleaching products that are vegan and Animal testing free (like white fire)
Bleach it, if you can.
Not true. The process bleaches out the section to be coloured and then dyes it. The colours look stupendous in brown hair. DO it, you will love it.
