New childish insult unlocked: "Oh yeah? Well, you're a horngus of a dongfish!"
I'm happy to date someone who is as mentally ill as I am, with the caveat that we can't both be spiralling at the same time. This works out OK though as I am rarely calmer then when someone else near me is panicking. Like my subconscious knows that there's only room for one set of panic right now.
Not even an adult, but laundry. Especially if you’re going to do it right: separating pale and dark colors, taking out the ones that can’t be machine-dried, removing stains…
When I was in my 20s I used to think it would be SO cool if my then-boyfriend and I bought a huge house with some of his friends and their girlfriends. It would be video games and pen-and-paper roleplaying games 24/7. Built-in friends that were always there to hang out, but you all also had your own rooms if you didn't want to hang out. I thought it was a great idea... boyfriend did not XD
Yeah, efforts not paying up, seeing the world around us go nuts and about to burst into flames, being surrounded by hatred because a guy in the bus wearing a golden outfit sure is unusual, but old people insulting him for that is just pure rudeness -and I'm not even mentioning systemic problems-, seeing that ai is about to change drastically our relationship to proof and reality, the climate changing and already making our lives difficult if not worse (the surge in deaths this summer is, at best, a mood dampener)... Need I go on?
You think those are scary, just look up a cassowary. Hey, that rhymes!
"A Lacanian approach is a branch of psychoanalysis that explains the human mind by combining Sigmund Freud's work with structural linguistics and philosophy." Er well, that didn't help me understand things at all XD "Lacan taught that the hidden mind is not just a storage box for repressed urges. It operates using grammar, slips of the tongue, and word patterns. Human beings are driven by a constant feeling of 'lack'. We chase desires that can never be fully satisfied because language separates us from our original state of wholeness." Er... ooookay.
Oooooh my ex hated me for that 😅 I always fell asleep when he drove. He seemed to think it was a "f you!" When I fell asleep. Because he was usually tired as well. But he also usually slept when I drove. I loved that, because then I got to listen to my music without him frantically trying to find something he liked. Lol.
I went to a Hare Krishna vegetarian restaurant in Suva, Fiji. It was excellent. I wish there was one near where I live.
I firmly believe those who say "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels 🤪🤪" have never had a single good, or at least above-average, food in their lives
I'm only 5'3 myself and never saw the appeal in having a partner who's that much taller. I'd like to look in my partners eyes, not up their nostrils. And kiss them without needing a stepladder or them bending so far down each time.
I've reached the point where I purposefully avoid everyone wearing anything Potter-related. I'm trans, majority of my friends are trans, and I've run out of patience with "nostalgia" about 25-years-old mediocre children's books.
So that's what men need to do to meet intelligent girls! Get buried in a shallow grave.
