I'm not even a gran and my school's computer room was floppy discs and no connectivity to the outside world (well, there was JANET but the costs were eye watering so you'd be lucky to see it in the wild).

I'm torn, The history that will disappear BUT the treatment of said horses in many cases is horrific! That being said there could have much better rules for the treatment of horses! including time & weather limits, TOTAL vet care, feed, owner treatment etc. I believe in the time off for the equine could have been in Central Park. I know I'll get negative feedback here but just saying my daughter is a horse vet tech. A***e to ANY animal just shows the mental problems of the owner.

It didn't matter what rules they made, how they tried to stop the cruelty. SOME of the drivers/owners treated those horses terribly, others treated them even worse.

There are alternatives. In Vienna for example are lots of electric cars in the roads, which copy the Style of a horse carriage or the look of the First Cars.

This is a demonstration of the observer effect in quantum physics. Demonstrated with the double slit experiment. Top guy is not observing, so the light travels as probability waves. The bottom one, the guy observes it, the wave function collapses, and the light behaves as a particle. A physicist can explain this better than I can. Cool graffiti though
