My cousin took this photo. It's taken in his hometown - Roundstone, Co. Galway, Ireland. He gave it to the local newspaper and from there it's been going around the world for the last 15 years.
Never do today what you can put off. You may be lucky enough to get out of ever doing it
My grandma had a really hot senior photo from before the great depression; both hers and Wall Street’s
I have that exact same adorable little shopping trolley! See? DSC_0207-6...321553.jpg
Yeah...I gotta be honest, the "con" seems like another "pro" to me. 🤔
I am now refusing to feel any emotions. It is just not worth it. Yes, I'm working on it with my therapist.
Like spending this time reading about all these depressed people
and then i stay up until 4 AM wanting to evaporate because i did this and regret it
This is a real thing. Depression has been linked to memory loss, esp short term memory loss.
Sometimes I'm on my phone to read, listen to music, or enjoy BP. I don't need that text interrupting me. It can wait!
This whole list is making me feel a bit bleak about my own perpetual exhaustion
I sometimes wonder how I ever made friends/how I possibly could have been everyone’s favorite co-worker at my retail job. I would never be mean to someone because of my trauma. But if YOU have trauma, please do let it all out on me. I'd rather feel pain than nothing
Loverboy, as a psych nurse and fellow traveler, it breaks my heart to hear your pain. Do I understand correctly that you have little to no professional or personal support? When we feel this badly, it is so difficult to reach out to people. We don't feel worthy, don't have the energy, don't know where to turn and a million other things. I know that it probably seems like a platitude, but
Cut myself off. Anyway I would like to offer my support. There are two sayings that have helped me along the way. "This to shall pass." And " If you are going through Hell, keep going". Please take care of yourself and know that you are not alone.
When you're in the dark tunnel you must keep moving forward. You can never get out if you keep turning around.
Well sometimes you need to stop and take a break to. Try to find some peace or quiet in the darkness. Then get up and move on. It's what has helped me.
