When you're neurodivergent, your brain works a little bit differently from others. It might be a bit busier, louder, and more/less focused than others'. Research shows that about one in five people in the world are neurodivergent. And we here at Bored Panda think that they should be represented appropriately in the meme world.

So true. I'm autistic. My son thinks I'm extremely funny, but only because of things I don't mean to be funny. But I'm old enough now that I'll understand after the fact why he thinks it's funny, so I'll get a laugh out of it, too. But my intentional jokes are so weird only my late father and Carl from middle school ever thought it was funny.

I do things like this too. THIS is the text for TSA. You need to organize collored lozenges correctly and answer a bunch of stupid questions while in a dark room and cant look at the second person in the room. After I did that interview I lost my taste for Federal Service. Its joining a cult.

Yeah. I've worked at the same place for 18 years. I found out three years ago that everyone takes all their paid sick time. If they haven't used it up being sick towards the end of the year, they just take it off as PTO. All the managers know. BUT NOBODY TOLD ME I COULD DO THAT. I only took it when sick (and for the first 8 years, I would almost always work a Saturday to make it up anyway). I figure I'm owed at least 30 days off.

But Lisa in an infinite universe all things are possible until they don't happen. It is really very, if not extremely, difficult to ignore things that don't happen. It goes on everywhere all of the time. Stuff just going around not happening. It's very disconcerting...if anything, more things haven't happened than have happened so they're in the majority.

You guys need to make friends with a Triple A Battery (Autism, Anxiety and ADHD). They left the stove on and are worried about it being on but they need it on because they are cooking and that's how cooking happens. They will probably remember to turn it off but not at the right time...

Pretend I Wrote Something Funny

When I was 4 years old I solomly went to my mother to explain that I had a wheel from my Matchbox car stuck up my nose and couldn't get it out. She counted the 4 wheels on the car and told me I was wrong. This went on for around 3 hours. Back and forth back and forth between 4 year old me and mother. I eventually got frustrated and shouted "STEERING WHEEL" and then off to A&E we went to get it removed. It had broken off from inside the toy car and had been stuck up my nose the whole time. I was utterly, totally and perfectly correct that I had a wheel up my nose and genuinely couldn't understand why my mother didn't care. This is what it's like. (I say this for those of you here to try and understand).

I actually to this day do not know what people mean by "roll their eyes". As far as I know, I've never seen anyone do it. I only know when it's being done in a very exaggerated way in some movie, where the character is very consciously showing that they are rolling their eyes (in a sarcastic or comedic sense).
