In school, at university, at work, you did your best to hide your fascination with video games, fantasy films, and Dungeons & Dragons because you didn’t want to make yourself a target for being made fun of. However, things have changed quite a lot. Especially over the past decade or so.
Nerd culture has become incredibly mainstream. And it’s not even a little weird to overhear someone talking by the watercooler about what games they played over the weekend or what sci-fi spectacle they can’t wait to binge-watch next month. So it’s no wonder that nerd culture-related memes have been getting a lot of love on social media.

One of my favourite jokes in "Rocko's Modern Life" is when they're at the Chokey Chicken and Heffer gets something lodged in his throat, and Rocko yells "Help! Is there a doctor in the house??" and it turns out *every single customer in the restaurant* is wearing a white coat and a stethoscope, etc. but they all just ignore him and go back to their food.

I always found this soothing to fix-twisting it smoothly around til it popped out the end and was all one nice curl again was satisfying.

I hate when adults tell children that high school, or college, will be the best time in life. To some extent, life is what you make it. I am 34 and I would not go back for one day.
