Yep, it genuinely won't. There are a set of dots on the note that when the scanner picks them up, it will refuse to continue scanning/copying. I needed a picture of some banknotes for something and in the end finished up having to photograph them.

This is very good. In Belgium it is mandatory, too. I did not research the status as of today, but 20 years ago voting by letter (as very common in Germany) wasn't possible. So one third of the workforce had to leave on a workday to travel back to Belgium to cast their votes. It was a pain to organize this, however the Dutch and German colleagues (3 companies working 24/7 on a tunnel) got that covered. Luckily all three nations got along perfectly, even with language difficulties, always covered each other and were working in mixed teams anyway. Still proud of that very special crew - I was one of the three project managers

Pretty much any used car you buy from a dealer in the US went through an auction at some point. Most dealers, when they take a car in trade, just send it to the auction rather than putting on their own lot. Used car dealers buy their cars from the auction to match what the think their customers will want.
